I work in Ohio at an allergy bakery. Recently, I was asked to make some baked goods that were recipes of my own devising. I did, and the products have become quite popular. But now I am worried that if I leave the bakery, how do I handle the situation with them using my recipes? The recipes were created years before I began working there, and if I leave I would either like the other bakers to stop using my recipes, or give me compensation to continue to use my recipes.
What is the best way to go about protecting myself and my recipes? I've been encouraged by the owner to continue to share other recipes of mine, but I am reluctant to do so until I know how best to proceed.
Thank you.
