My husband and I recently located his 3 year old daughter. The mother fled the state of Iowa. When we located his daughter, we drove the 10 hour drive and did an ex-parte order. When we went back to court, the judge ordered shared custody. The mother has her two weeks and we get her for two weeks. The last time we picked her up from her mother's care, she had a black eye. The mother claimed that the 4 year old sister pushed the 3 year old and she fell into the coffee table. We went with the story, but as soon as we were able to have her medically checked out, she was. We just returned her to her mother's care over the weekend. Not even 24 hours later, the little girl fell and broke her nose. The mother didn't take the little girl to the doctor until the very next day. Now, we have the medical records of when she was seen in the emergency room. We have contacted our attorney, who doesn't seem to want to help out. We are looking for suggestions on what to do next??? I'm open to all suggestions. Please e-mail any comments or suggestions to me. blondy00712@yahoo.com
