My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: GA
I was working with a local Bank for three months due to the job stress from lack of employees I had to be put on a 2wk medical leave dealing with anxiety attacks. I was working up until then doing my job like I was suppose to and only missed two days of work before the medical leave. When I called the employer to let her know that I had my paper showing I could go back to work she was very short and rude to me over the phone....Said "B4 I came back to work we would have to have a meeting!" So when I went in for the meeting they asked me to resign because it wasn't working out. Which I refused. I was never coached or written up on anything about my job performance and was never late.
I have filed an EEOC complaint and have a mediation sch. for January...I would like for 100% for loss wages and or my job back....I am not working now...Didn't work for five years before I got this job because I have been a stay at home mom and now I am a stay at home mom...Have looked for several jobs but alot of places aren't hiring due to the economy.
I am so nervous never done this b4 and don't really know what to ask for nor what to expect....Any help would be grately appreciated...
