Default Child Support is Still Adding Same Amount As when I Was in the Military, and I'm Not

    hello
i was in the navy when my son was born, child support was taking the money out directly from my checks for 4 yrs, until i was honorably discharged. after that i havent had the luck of getting a real job. but they have kept adding the same amount from my navy days till this day plus late fees and so forth. what can i do?

Ask for a modification, but you still have the duty to support your child, whether you are working or not. The kid still has to eat.

File for a modification and come up with a plan of how you will be paying both current support and the arrears that have accrued.
