    Default Disputing Transcripts

    CALIFORNIA
    CIVIL CASE.

I PAID FOR THE TRANSCRIPTS. 14 PAGES FOR $40

Me and a witness both remember several comments that didn’t show up on the transcripts.

The Court reporter used a laptop and possibly a regular steno. She seemed to be sitting to the side of the laptop.

I asked the Court reporter I would like to review her tapes. She said no.

Q: How can I force the Court reporter to show me her original tape?

Q: what would I expect to see if portions are omitted or changed? Cross-outs, white-outs, initials?

Q: is there any place to check her license?
Thanks In Advance for all the replies!

The judge controls the transcript. If the judge ordered portions of the testimony stricken, then that's probably why they're missing. Have you tried asking the court reporter?

    Thank you for your reply!

i am referring to statements the Judge made!

Q: how or who do I complain to about TRANSCRIPTS that have too many revisions or omissions to be accidental?

Q: what statute or code would this issue be under?

The Court Reporter is covering for the Judge, so she is of no help.
