Default Admitting Guilt After Found "Not Guilty"

Suppose a theoretical situation where you've been charged with a serious crime, say, first-degree murder.

If you go thru trial and are found not guilty, usually, that's the end of the story. However, what happens if you blatantly confess to the charge right afterwards.

For example, after the jury reads "not guilty," you stand up and brag about how you just "got away with murder." Or, in a more subtle case, you're in court for another charge and admit something among the lines of "I commited that crime, but thru luck, was found not guilty."

We don't do hypotheticals or homework.

However, you may wish to google "OJ Simpson"
