my friends husband entered the us legally when he was young then he worked illegally for a year left the us at the age of 18. he is out of the us but still marry to my friend which is a us citizen. does he has a chance of returning to the us? tnk you

It is really difficult to give any sort of advice with such limited information. The most important advice is that your US citizen friend should consult an immigration attorney in person so they can gather all the information and make a recommendation. A consultation should not cost too much, or you could look at some of the local community resources for his heritage group and see if they can offer some advice.

You said he came when he was young and left when he was 18?

How did he come to the US?
What type of VISA?
Did the VISA expire before he left?
How long was he out of status before he left?

If he is 18, how long was he married to your friend? One of the most important factors, should they try for a spouse Visa is to show evidence or proof of their life together? At age 18, I don't suppose there is much evidence (Bill, mortgage, photo...etc) especially if he is living in a different country.
