Default I was forced to confess to stealing

Here is my story... I needs lots of advice

I was in Perisians department store in the mall where I go a lot to try on "Free People" and I'll buy it or order it off of Ebay. I didn't think it was a crime to try on stuff without buying freguently. Anyway I tired on clothes in the dressing room. I even stood around the dressing room waiting for someone to help me. After the two sales ladies ignored me I went into the dressing room and left the door open while I neatly hung everything up. After I was finished I neatly put everything on hangers and handed them to the sales lady. I looked at more clothes, went to the restroom, and then left the store. A man rammed into me with force and acussed me of stealing. I told him that he was crazy and started to walk to my car. He asked if he could look thorugh my purse and I said yes. He said he had to do it somewhere private. I keep trying to walk to my car, but he would stand infront of me. Finally he pulled out handcuffs and told me that he would embarass me infront of everyone if I didn't go with him. I started crying because i couldn't believe this was happening. He lied to me and told me he was a cop and then another lady showed up and they took me down an elevater into a dark room.

Question... Do these rooms have cameras? It would be good if they did.

Anyway, I asked them what they thought I took and the lady just said a shirt. I asked her what color and she didn't answer. Finally she said a blue tank top. I had a blue tank top on under a sheer shirt. They searched my purse and after finding nothing, she accused me of having it on. I told her that it was my tank top and to please let me just leave. She told me that she couldn't because she would get fired and they had to have some sort of clothing. She told me that she sees me come in all the time and never buy anything. I tried to explain about the ebay thing , but they both started threating me. They told me if I didn't take the tanktop off and give it to them that they would have me aressted and put me in the patty wagon with men that would sexually harass me. I took my shirt off infront of them and gave it to them. I was left wearing a sheer top with my breasts exposed. She asked me where the tag was and the censor. It was mine so there wasn't one! Then she accused me of having drugs and asked me quote "Did you put your drugs up inside of you, that is what most druggie do" and continued to harass me. She then told me that she knows I stole my underwear because she saw me trying on ligerie. Long story short, they make me take off my underwear and give it to them. The underwear came with a cami top and she keep asking me where was it. The top is at my house!! I still have it right now at my house! They told me that if I signed a paper they wouldn't press chargers and they would let me leave. i tried to call my mom but they took my phone away from me and wouldn't let me call anyone. They keep threating me with jail. I signed the paper, but they called the cops anyway....they lied. I signed a ticket saying I would appear to be booked on June 8th. I just wanted to go home and I was so upset I wasn't thinkinh right. Because I had no underwear on with a short skirt and you could see my breasts I asked the cop if he would drive me to my car. He said no and made me walk in front of everyone with everything showing...it was so embarassing. Guys were screaming at me and saying dirty things.
    What should I do?
Will they have my clothes still?
Will a receipt of my clothes help me in court?
Will the top that goes with the underwear that I have help?
Do they have cameras in the small room?
What about the fact that the women had no idea what I had stolen, but was just looking at me and guessing?

You need to consult a lawyer about the criminal charge, and within the context of your discussions with your lawyer get an assessment of their conduct and whether you may have a civil claim. The first thing you need to do, though, is beat the charge.

If you buy lots of stuff from eBay, as eBay keeps records of every transaction you make it will be easy to prove that you do so.
