    Question Emancipation in Idaho

I know that Idaho has no emancipation statue from research that i have done. But here is my situation. . . .
I'm 16 and having a baby boy. He is due in January. My parents are devorice adn i currently live with my mom and visit my dad occasionally, but my dad files me under his taxes. Me and the dad want to take full responsiblity for the child and aprovid it with everything he will need without the help of my parents. I am fully employed right now and make good money. I am doing online school that cost nothing and i pay for my own phone and car insurance. I buy groceries and things i will need for the baby. But i want to get accistance from the state, but being a dependent under my parents, there incomes are to high. So i want to get my own independence and be able to provide for my own kid which i know i could do.
Can anyone help me? Is there a way that Idaho would allow me to get emancipated?

You actually do not wish to take "full responsibility" for this child. You want the tax payers of your state to take responsibility.

No court in this country will emancipate a 16 year old, irresponsible ( you didn't take reproductive responsibility) child so that she can go on public assistance. It just won't happen.

I will go one step further.

You make it sound like some grand statement that you will take care of your own child.

Your parents and his parents are under ZERO responsibility to undertake ANY financial needs and provide ANY assistance to your child whatsoever.

    NONE.

You created a baby... you pay for it.

The immaturity of OP's post is just breathtaking...Hopefully she will grow up very quickly and understand that that "lump" under her top is a human being.

Sweety you have bigger worries or Father does. My search shows Idaho age of consent at 18. This means the Father could be facing serious sex crimes charges

NO. There is not a shred of a possibility that the state of Idaho would emancipate you. "No emancipation statute" means exactly that.

But you know something? Based on what you have posted, there is not a shred of a possibility that the state would emancipate you even if they did have an emancipation statute. You are about as far from a candidate for emancipation as I have ever seen post, and that takes some doing.

If you need the assistance of the state, that is an absolute bar to emancipation. If you need assistance AT ALL, that is an absolute bar to emancipation. Emancipation means SELF support. That means that YOU pick up the tab, not the taxpayers. Sheesh.
