My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: NJ.
I received a ticket for failure to yield at a U-TURN light signal, basically the cop said that I ran the red light. When I was talking to the cop as I was getting the ticket, I informed him that the light was not red as I was turning, it had just turned yellow. He said you are suppose to stop on yellow, but I was already 3/4 of the way around ... it would of made absolutely no sense to stop in the middle of the road.
Needless to say that I am fighting the ticket. There is a camera at that intersection, is there any way I can find out if it works and would I be able to use it in court?
Other than that, I do not know any other defense to prove my innocence being as it is just my word against his.
Help!
