    Unhappy One Ticket, Two Infractions

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California, Los Angeles

While driving my motorcycle home in the afternoon on the freeway, I was pulled over for speeding, 80 in a 65, I was also cited for crossing the double yellow lines in the car pool lane. He wrote up both Infractions on the one ticket. I accept that. But my question is I just received my letter in the mail from the court for speeding, and if I want to attend traffic school, which I will. No mention about the Car pool violation, I went to court web site, put in my drivers license and ticket number, it only shows speeding infraction. It is like the car pool violation is not there any more, what are my requirements. Is my car pool violation accidently dropped? Do I have to show up to my court date because I did not receive anything related to car pool violation? Do I play dumb and just deal with speeding ticket?

    Thanks in advance,
    DJ

What vehicle code sections are shown on your citation?

I would go to the traffic window in court to inquire about the other violation, not so much to remind them of the missing violation but more importantly to ensure that it will not come back to haunt me in the future.

The courtesy notice is just that, a courtesy notice... The official charging document is in fact the citation that you received at the time of the stop. Without some sort of confirmation that the carpool violation was dismissed, I would be concerned that the case will remain open until both violations are adjudicated.
