Default Tased Six Times During an Arrest

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Massachusetts

I went to my arraignment today for Disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Both charges were dismissed with small fines which I am thrilled about. My question is with the police report. The officer stated he tased me twice in the thigh then was able to restrain me. I have over six taser wounds on my body. Meaning 12 burns or being hit with the taser six times including one on my penis. I will be going tomorrow to get this documented at the hospital. Is it possibleor worth it to sue the police over this? Also would they be able to bring me up on more charges if I purse this?

Tased 6 times?? Sounds like excessive use of force, unless you are the Indredilble Hulk and they need to take you down.

So are you trying to tell us that the officer shot you with the taser, then put in a new pack, shot you again, put in a new pack, shot you again, etc. - WHILE you were trying to resist?

Has anyone EVER seen an officer walking around with that many cartridges?? EVER????

Sounds to me like there were SEVERAL officers involved unless this one officer was the Flash and showed up with an ammo store. If there were other officers involved, the officer in question could have shot you with ONE taser and shocked you twice. What the other officers did would be in their own reports or versions.

And when a case is dismissed, there typically aren't fines involved. Sounds more like your case was simply handled by fines (and any time already served) on the lower charge. That's VERY different, legally, than your case being dismissed.

They can't bring you up on more charges for going after them. NOT AT ALL. You need a personal injury lawyer.

What was the exact nature of the dismissal? The fact that you were fined establishes that this was not a finding in your favor. Did you allocute (state facts constituting the charged offense(s) on the record? Enter a plea - be it guilty, no contest, or something else other than "not guilty"? Exactly what happened that led to you being responsible for the fines, post-dismissal?
