    Question I-130 Immigration Procedings, I-325

    Hello all...
On the I-130 form, where it says ..
Has your relative ever been under immigration proceedings?

If my wife's former employer was filing for her many years ago but since she stopped working there, we don't know what happened with the case. Would that be considered being under immigration proceedings?

    --------------------------------------------

And on the I-325a form, where it says
on top- Alien Number (I became a US Citizen a while back)
would my Naturalization certificate number go here??

and at the bottom where it says...
Alien Registration Number? is this also my Naturalization certificate number?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and reply!!

For the purposes of the I-130, "immigration proceedings" means court actions related to immigration status, such as exclusion or removal.

The answer would be No here.

For the G-325, your wife's Alien Registration number would need to be filled in. That form is to provide your wife's biographic information, not yours.

I was under the impression that each one of us has to fill out the I-325?

So she doesn't have one, in my case, do I put in my Naturalization #?

    Thank you!

For you, your SSN, if you have applied for one. (If you've naturalized, you should have one.)

    For her, leave it blank.

    There's a great tutorial here.

Both of you have fill G325A forms. for Yours(if You are the petitioner of I 130), put A-number, for Your wife, put N/A if she never applied for A-number and had never been given one.
