Unhappy Was Refused in F1 Student Visa

    Hi,
My name is Tanya. I'm from Ukraine. This summer I visited USA on J1 visa and while being there desided to get education in USA college. So I passed tests in college. College supervisor said that I need to find a sponsor if I want to study in the USA, because I have no right to work with F1 visa. After the program W&T came to the end I came back home. One of my friends in the USA said that he can lend me the money, as my parents don't have suficient funs in the bank to be my sponsors. I filed all necessary papers for the embassy and made an appointment, but I was refused in recieving visa. The consular said that he does'n believe that some friend will give me the money for my studies. I explained that we have an agreement that my parents will return him all the money. But anyway he refused me. He had doubts that I'll return home after graduateing.
I want to apply for F1 visa again with the same papers and some additional papers that can prove that I'm not going to stay in the USA after graduateing college. Do I have any chanse to get this visa or any other kind of visa in future? And when can I applay again? Because studies begin on the 7 of January 2010 and I'd like to start them in time!!!
    Thank You!!!

You can reapply immediately. But don't be surprised if you're denied again.

Is this agreement with your friend in writing? You'd do well to speak with an immigration attorney to sort out your options.

Do you realize the amount required to fund a university education in the US? It is unlikely that your parents have the resources to repay your friend. It is also unlikely that he has the significant amount required to fund a degree unless he is extremely wealthy.

You are better off obtaining your undergraduate degree in your home country and working towards receiving university funding for a graduate degree.
