Default Served Sentence Under Assumed Name

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arkansas-

A person borrowed the identity of a friend and lived in Arkansas.

He was arrested and convicted of drug paraphenalia and served jail and probation.

Now it has been 10 years. Is this now a thing of the past?

Is what a thing of the past?

Are you asking if the person who served time under a name not his own can still be prosecuted for identity theft? Possibly, possibly not.

The friend who's identity was "borrowed"...is he aware of this "borrowing"? Was his SSN also "borrowed"? If it was, is he aware that he has a criminal record now, thanks to the "borrower"?
