Default Naturalization Interview and Recent Criminal Case Incident

My husband was charged with second deg assault involving me. His trial judgement was Not Guilty - Acquitted, spousal privilege invoked by me.

During the naturalization interview, should my husband inform the officer of the arrest and amend his application and show the court disposition in the beginning itself? or should he wait to mention it as the officer goes through his application and reaches the section of Good Moral Character, which has questions about arrests?

Your husband should be honest at all times. As he will have disclosed the incident on his application for naturalization, the officer conducting the interview will already know about the incident.
