Default Fraud Civil Status in U.S. Citizenship Application

    Good day!

I'm a Filipino Citizen and married to a US immigrant who is also a Filipino Citizen. My husband and his family migrated to Illinois on May 2001. My husband and I were married on June 1, 2007. I don't know if my husband is already a US citizen because he doesn't want me to know about his current status.

My concern is that my husband, APPLIED for his U.S. CITIZENSHIP and used a SINGLE STATUS although we are already MARRIED at that time. He is also using his Single status in his work at Chicago, Illinois. And now he is planning to MARRY a girl who is also an immigrant in Chicago in which I do not know if the girl is already an American Citizen. My husband's family tolerates his affair with the girl and has nothing against that girl because she is a US Nurse, even though they know that my husband is already married to me.
Currently I'm here in the Philippines and my husband is in the US.

My question is., will his application of citizenship be affected because of his fraud entry of his civil status if I am going to report him? I believe that U.S. doesn't need an opportunistic person like him who will do anything just to be gain US citizenship and to be rich.

You say "concern is that my husband, APPLIED for his U.S. CITIZENSHIP and used a SINGLE STATUS" because you're guessing, or because you saw the application?

You can report his activities to the Illinois Immigration Field Office at (312) 353-4465.

    You may do so anonymously.
