Im working in a company and as of my second day they accused me of theft based on a mistake I have done in the register. A customer bought 3 items, I rang 2 of them and forgot to rang the third item.However I gave all the merchandise (3 items) to the customer.
The security assumed that I did that intentionally and accused me of theft. They assumed that the customer is one of my friends and I gave away the merchandise to her. It's the first time I saw that girl.
Under their pressure I admitted that I did a mistake but refused to admit myself gulty. They are about to terminate me and have me pay the missing item.
In this situation what I should do?
what complain i should file?
