Default F1 Getting Married to Green Card Holder

I am on F1 visa and got married to a green card holder. However,he hasn't yet applied for my status change and I am still on F1.Can I travel internationally before change of status or immigration would have a record of my marriage license when i come back?

Here's the deal. Your F1 is a nonimmigrant visa. It's not a problem to marry a U.S. citizen while you're on F1 status if you don't intend to immigrate - for example, if your plans are up in the air and perhaps you and your spouse will go to your nation of origin after you graduate. Your marriage may raise questions at the border, and you do not want to lie, but at the same time you don't have to commit to one of several possible futures. Give some thought, though, to whether you want to adjust your status and seek advance parole before you travel, or how soon you might be petitioning for AOS after your travel.
