Exclamation Immigrant Husband Worked Without Permit, Is He Eligible for Marriage-Based Green Card

I have read that immigrants who have worked in the United States are automatically ineligible for a green card. My husband entered the United States legally, but we believe he did work a period of time without a proper permit from the ucis, would this make him ineligible for a green card or adjustment of status??? Please reply as soon as possible, we are really nervous about this. I really appreciate everyone's help. Thank you so very much in advance!!!

as long as he entered the US legally he should be fine.
the USCIS doesn't really care about his illegal employment.

when filing the paperwork, if he still works illegally, you must disclose that
information, don't lie on your forms. and don't worry, he won't get in trouble
    for working illegally.
as i mentioned above as long as he entered the US legally
(he was inspected at the port of entry and have a I-94 etc.) than he should be fine and can apply for AOS and Green Card.
