    Default Overpayment of Unemployment Insurance

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Wisconsin
Hello I have a question I recently received a letter stating that I was overpayed unemployment for a couple weeks that I was already employed. The reason I kept filing for unemployment was because I was technically not receiving any payment from my current job, and I need some income to make ends meet. Now they are saying I need to do a phone interview about the situation. I need serious help and am not sure what to exactly tell the interviewer, any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Default Re: Overpayment of Unemployment Insurance

well, it would appear that Wisconsin is like just about every other state and you have to report your earnings in the week you earned them. You failed to do so so you illegally received unemployment compensation.

For sure you will be paying back the over payments. I would hope they stop there.

Not really sure what to tell the interviewer other than the truth. If you had been truthful to begin with, you wouldn't be having this problem now.
