This is regarding a home in Nevada.

We purchased a home in May of 2008. It is an FHA loan. We have fallen behind in our payments (last two payments made were for $1000 on 9/18/09 and $1000 on 10/2/09 on a $1879,76 monthly payment, which was for August 2009 made on 10/1/09). We are now behind by by three months (Sept, Oct and Nov). We received a letter today from Bank of America demanding we cure by 12/4/09 in the amount of $7,820.64 (4 x $1955.16 which is monthly payment plus late fee). We have been writing back and forth with B of A asking if we could get the two original payments for Sept and Oct put on the back of the loan, which they denied. We then offered to pay $2,400.00 per month until the payments were caught up, which they again denied. We received a refund check for $120.24 (which is the $2000 less our monthly payment we paid from the two $1000 payments made on 9/18 and 10/2 for the August payment). We are both employed and would like to know if anyone can guide us as to where we go from here? Do you think if we offered to pay the Sept and Oct payments (which would mean we would not pay any of our other bills for the month), they would back off the foreclosure? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
