Unhappy I Am a 17 Female Graduating in 2 Weeks

I am a 17 year old female living in the state of Texas. I also graduate in two weeks. I feel like i am so much older than my age, I am ready to move out and live on my own. My childhood friend has an apartment but she is 18 years old. She said i could live with her if i needed to. Here is my story...

My dad has been through counceling because he has physically abused me before, i walk on egg shells everyday all day, i cant be five feet near him without wanting to throw up because i am so scared of him. It makes me sick to even know how scared i am of my own dad. I just want one simple answer.. I know there is a loophole in the Texas Family Code. I have printed out 46 pages of the whole Family Code. I have my bags packed. I have also spoke with countless police officers and each of them told me, it depends on the officer who comes to talk to you where ever you are staying.

So will i be brought home if i refuse to leave?

it depends on the officer who comes to talk to you where ever you are staying.

So, you expect us to be able to determine what an unknown officer will do in a situation that hasn't happened yet? Sorry, the crystal ball is out being repaired.
