    Default H1 Transfer

I am working on H1 visa for Company A and would be transferring my visa to Company B. My manager at Company A has assured me that they will not revoke my H1 visa and I can return to them few months down the line.

Is it possible for me to return to Company A after the transfer? What would be the procedure to return to Company A from Company B? Will it require a re-entry into US on the old petition ??

You can return to Company A. As long as your work authorization hasn't been revoked and you remain in status, that simply involves going back to Company A and working.
