    Default Complications After a Surgery

My question involves medical malpractice in the state of: Michigan

    Hello Everyone,

Without Going into Complete Detail, about five years ago, when I was a minor, I was involved in a surgery that left me severely injured. Over the course of the first two years, my parents attempted to bring forth a case against this doctor and hospital. It was unsuccessful due to lack of funds, and in my opinion a inexperienced lawyer.

My question is, has the statute of limitation already expired, or is their an exception because I was a minor? It has not quite been five years yet.

    Looking Forward To a Response.

If they filed a case and lost, the statute of limitations is irrelevant - the case is over because they lost.
