My situation covers a couple of areas. My boyfriend and I had been living together for about 5 months. We are both on the lease. From day one the living situation hadn't been working and he expressed that he wanted me to move out. Of course I refused. After a verbal argument one day, he goes to court and gets an emergency order of protection against me. The judge gives him exclusive possession of our apartment. I've always been advised that no matter what, as long as my name is on the lease no one but the landlord (with just cause) can evict me. I guess my question is if he gets the plenary order of protection, does he still get exclusive possession?
