Let Go for Poor Performance

I was recently let go for poor performance. I was on a 60 day PIP but made couple of mistakes and was let go 45 days into it. My employer said they would not contest to UI benefits, not that I've filed my paperwork and a claim underemployment office said it would take 6 to 8 week to make decision. Can i still be denied unemployment when the decision is reached?

You could be denied, even if the employer doesn't protest. But generally speaking, poor performance is not a disqualifying reason.
