Default Forgery of a Signature to Get Money from Our Insurance Company

    In the state of Massachusetts:
so my father had got into an accident, it was not his fault and it was clearly stated in the police report. So the insurence company was supposed to pay for the damages. The car was given to a shop and they fixed the repairs but they forged both my parents signatures and sent it to the insurence company to get the money for it..my father was not aware of this until he recieved a copy of the papers.. my question is can we sue them, and for how much is reasonable if so? i think the total damage resulted in about $2,000

Sue them for what? Your father had the car repaired, right? How did this cause him an economic loss?

As for issues of forgery, did dad take it up with the insurance company?
