    Default Getting Emancipated in Canada

    I am 16 years old , i have battled with my parents over which one has custoday all my life. 7 months ago, my mother left me , moved to Calgary , AB ; i have not had any sort of contact with her for almost a year now . My father lives 40 minutes from me , I have no contact with him . I am currently living with friends, i have been here for 3 months . I am recieving no financial help from either of my parents & my father claims he still has custoday & won't allow my gaurdians to recieve " child tax credit " .
    If you can help point me in the right direction please do .
