Default Possible Citizenship Denial Due to Lying to a Border Patrol Officer

We're planning to apply for citizenship very soon in AZ.
There is a question Part 10.A.1 if we ever lied to authorities enetering the US.
I have to answer yes due to:
"This was the only option, running for our lives from persecution in our home country back in 90's, we had to claim that we're Americans to a border patrol officer in Juarez, TX.
This information later was provided to our immigration attorney and Immigration Judge. We have been granted Political asylum based on fear of persecution"
We hold Green card for the last 4-5 years with no issues.

Is this going to cause a denial of US Sitizenship?

    Thank you

Were your lies addressed in previous immigration proceedings?

I suggest working with an immigration lawyer.

Yes it was addressed in the court proceedings during the hearing in front of Immigration judge. We won the case and were granted political asylum.
    Thank you for your response
