My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana
I have recieved a drinking ticket on Ball State University's campus.
I have been cited for Left of Center, which means opposite side of the road. I was not in the other side of the road, I merely touched the yellow lines with my left side tires. I was paying attention to the person in the passenger seat when I realized I was drifting, corrected myself. Unfortunately there was a state police officer behind me.
Also, I was cited for Alcohol Violation by Minor over 18 No Motor Vehicle. He told me to get out of the car, sit in the passenger seat of the police vehicle, he continued to breathalyze me probably because the traffic violation. I blew a .04 on the breathalyzer.
Are these two seperate offenses?
Can I just pay the fine by money order and continue on?
What do I have to do further besides show up on the court date?
any further information is very helpful. thankyou
