I been charged with patronizing with a prostitute(in WA state) and prosicutors are not willing to dismiss the case. So my lawyer recomended for bench trail some time next month.
First of all, I was very hesitant and drove away from the scene and here's the key information from the undercover cop's case report:
"...I asked [my name] if he was looking for a date and he said yes and asked if I had a room. I told him that I have a room at the "[hotel name]". He asked what I do and I told him "anything" and asked him what he wanted, head or sex. He said that he wanted "full service" and asked me how much. I told him $60 and he told me he only had $40. I said, "OK, $40 for full service?" He said yes so I told him to pull behind Shucks. He was very hesitant and did not wanted to drive behind the building, asking me to get in the car where it was currently at. I said that I couldn't and started walking toward the back of Shucks.
As I was walking away from his vehicle, I gave the "good deal" signal....."
The bottom line is that I was bargaining, discussing, posturing and then not interested in sex and a “deal” was never struck. That’s why you drove away. Is No deal = No crime?...What are the chances that this case be dismissed on a bench trial?
Thanks,
