My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Texas. I received a letter from the Texas Employment Commission stating that I qualified for the state's extended benefits based on my wages from my claim from my regular unemployment benefits. My regular claim has been exhausted. I have also received an initial extension. I received a letter the next day stating that my claim was cancelled as I have not earned wages equal to 6 times my weekly benefit amount since the beginning of my last benefit year. This doesn't even make sense to me since I have been unemployed.
