My Primary residence is going into foreclosure following a nasty relationship breakup - he walked away owing me $70K with a lien on my house which I can't pay so I can't sell the house - hence the foreclosure - I lost my job so couldn't pay the mortgage.

I also own a house in San Diego which is currently rented out.

Question: if I don't pay property taxes on my primary residence which is in foreclosure will the tax lien be placed on my second home in SD or just on my primary residence to which it relates?
