My question involves an eviction in the state of: Arizona

I gave my 30 day notice to vacate due to my lease expiring at the end of the month, when I moved in I gave them a 500.00 security deposit my rent is 770.00 a month. I am unable to pay my last month's rent until the 24th. In my 30 day notice it states that any balances from rent due will be deducted from my deposit, I explained my situation to the manager today regarding why I am late with my rent, using my security deposit for which she had no reply, and paying the remainder then. She stated that she would have to contact corporate and they would charge my a 200.00 attorney fee and start eviction procedings. Arizona statue states that any notice of non payment of rent, late fees, and pending evictions must be hand delivered or sent via certified mail, they have had their courtesy patrol leave these notices on my doorstep in the middle of the night. Can they evict me with two weeks remaining and when it states that I can use my deposit towards the balance, when it would only be 300.00 with late fees remaining? I feel they are attempting to scare me with an eviction, to take advantage of my situation so they can keep my deposit and recieve the full month's rent. What would be my best course of action in dealing with this situation?
