I tried to get an answer from the counselor section at the embassy (I wasn’t present during my mother’s interview) and I was told that she was told the reason why her visa was denied and all they told her was that she had committed fraud for staying longer than they should have. I’m really at the end of my rope here to be honest.
That, unfortunately, is not a sufficient explanation for me to figure out what happened. If your mother is unable to obtain more information about her case by herself, it's probably time to bring in an immigration lawyer.
