My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: OHIO
I'm in need of some legal advice pertaining to a possible vehicle sale. I had a possible out-of-state buyer contact me interested in a vehicle I had for sale. He said asked if I was willing to receive payments of $3,500 a month (total price of vehicle $11,500) until the vehicle was paid off (3-4 months). He said at the end of the period and all payments were paid I would then transfer the title to his name. I understand that if the buyer were involved in an accident I would be ultimately responsible. The vehicle is paid off with no liens and is in my name.
Are there any preventative measures I can take so I don't get screwed?
