Default Security Deposit from Roommates in California

My question involves a security deposit in the State of: California
I have recently moved out of an apartment where I pay'd the full deposit of 660 but there isn't any proof that i pay'd the whole 660, Does the owner legally have to give me a third of the deposit back since there were three names on the rental agreement?
Also I pay'd mt half of rent on the first of the month, which i was then informed my roommates were moving out in a couple days and they were shutting off gas, so i had to leave, but there friends told them they couldn't move with them anymore, so how do i get my part of rent back in which i pay;d and i'm not living there anymore?

Ask the owner what his policies are. Some landlords will issue a check to all three roommates and let them work it out among themselves. You make it appear that nobody has renewed the lease - that is, that everybody hs moved out - correct?

Can you translate your second paragraph into something more clear, and why you believe you're entitled to part of your rent back? Thanks.

As far as the deposit, I paid the full 660. The owner tells me to work it out with them, and that it's not his problem.
we didn't have a lease, it was month to month.

Our rent was due on the first, the owner came and got it on the third which was a sunday, and the next day my roommates told me that they were moving out Thursday and turning off gas and internet, which i need for school, so my husband and i packed all of our stuff and then mt roommates told me they weren't moving out because they're friend wouldn't let them live there anymore, but i had my stuff all packed and didn't want to have to deal with this again next mont when they can't afford there part of their bills, so I just left, so this is why i'm asking if there's anyway i can get my rent money back. i'm more worried about how to get my deposit back.

You work it out with your roommates, or you take it to small claims court.

Is the landlord going to issue the check in all three names?

The roommates didn't end up moving out, i took my name off of the rental agreement and they have no where to go, so they have no choice but to stay there even though i know and so does the onwer that they can't afford it,but the owner said the check will be directly given to my roommate, but like i said the roommates can't afford it, so in that case the deposit wont be given back, i was just wondering if since i took my name off the rental agreement if he has to give me at least a third of the deposit back and then the roommates have to make it up?
