    Question Relieving from Service

    Hi,
I have resigned in my current company last month. They are saying that I can not leave in three months as per agreement, but there is a clause stating that I can pay for notice period that i can not serve.

I requested them that for buying notice period still they are denying.

    Please suggest what to do?
I cannot stay here... as i will lost my other job...

What state are you in? And what do you mean by "pay for notice period"?

Missy, what do you want to bet this poster is outside the U.S.? "Relieving from service" is not a common U.S. phrase.

You're very likely right, but it never hurts to ask.

The other possibility is a non-citizen currently at work here on a visa.
