    Default Holiday Pay

My company only pay the national holidays if we work day before and after.
If the holiday is on Friday or Saturday or Sunday,we are not getting paid. Also we have to take our vacation around 4TH of July and Christmas, so they not paying those days either. Because they paying our vacation. Is this legal?

    Default Re: Holiday Pay

It is if you are nonexempt. If you are exempt, there are exceptions. There is no law that forces an private employer to pay holiday pay at all.
