Has anyone registered their website using the U.S. Copyright Office's eCO Online System?
When using the eCO Online System to submit web sites for copyright registration, must each web page be submitted as a separate title?
The U.S.C.O. lets the person registering a website decide if it's "published or not." If a copyrighted item is published, by law, two hard copies of the publication need to be provided . . . supposedly. On the other hand, if an item is published, there are different rights in a court regarding recovering damages, from what I understand.
If a web site may be submitted as a single unit, and it was published to the Web in stages over several years, what should be used for the creation date and the publication date? (Assuming one wants to claim it has been published.)
Thanks!
