Wrongful termination in the state of texas? I know tx is an at will state but I continue to hear people talk about it, hell, they sent us, mid management, to training to teach us what we can and can't do such as promoting a hostile work environment, make threats, call names etc and my ex boss has done all of these things and I got fired for standing up to him. He wanted me to write a letter that would be falsifying information and I refused. He said I was insubordinate and confrontational and fired me. So, if there is really nothing that can be done then why do they "posture" as if something can be done. The city atty where I worked instructed everyone within city hall to have no contact with me what so ever. He was acting on false information provided again, by my ex boss.
