Do I understand correctly that you were arrested and convicted of a crime such as "contributing to the delinquency of a minor chid" for helping this girl run away on at least one prior occasion, you're under a court order (or is it an edict by her parents) to have no contact with her, and you're both ignoring that order and continuing to interfere with her home life? Here's a suggestion: STOP. Did you find jail to be a pleasant place to spend your time? What are you thinking?

Read this. If she lives at home, she's not a candidate for emancipation.

You do not understand what emancipation is, do you?

Emancipation does not mean that she continues to live at home and have her parents support her but she gets to blow off their rules.

Nor is any state going to emancipate her because her family will not allow her to have contact with you.

What you are missing is that her parents have the right under the law to control who she does and does not have contact with. If they do not want her to have contact with you because of your previous record, the state is going to be on her parents' side, not yours. There is NOTHING in the law that is ever going to force her parents to let her see you, and the state will not emancipate her against their wishes so that you and she can have contact.
