Default Spouse Status on the N-400

    Hi and Thanks in Advance
I am filling for the naturalization based on 5 year continuous residency.
My wife is undocumented. She came to united states on working visa and overstayed. Arrived legally and was inspected at the port of entry.

There is a question that asks for her status, and Other column
what should i put there? "illegal", "undocumented", "overstayed" "no current status" or "BLANK"? Will this affect my naturalization and her eventual legalization.
    Thanks again
    Balki

Let's say she entered on an F1 visa. A valid answer would be "F1 out of status". Or on a B2, "B2 overstay". Or something similarly simple and honest. Odds are, whatever you tell them, they'll figure out the deal from their own records. (You want to be sure that anything you say is honest.)
