A civil lien from what? For example, for damage to a vehicle or injury to a person from an auto accident you caused? Did the judgment underlying the lien also originate in Florida? If not, where did it originate?
thanks for reply.I had a crimininal charge and was appointed a lawyer. in 2003.Thet sent half of the amount I owe to a collection agency, and are taking my driving liscense for the civil lien with the clerk of court.when they told me about this lien upon conviction,I was told " no worries" its only a civil lien, not a criminal charge if you dont pay it.Now ,I am over my 3 year sentence and unable to pay,but can't afford losing my liscense. Thanks for your help
