Default One Employer to the Next

What can one Massachusetts employer tell the next about a person they will hire. If terminated from previous employer, can that employer give specifics? What are the limitations that govern Massachusetts' employers?

The employer can give any information that is true, that they have a good faith belief is true, or that represents their honest and supportable opinion. They may give specifics about a termination. What you have no doubt heard, that they are limited to dates of hire and salary information, is a myth.

If you have information to the contrary, 2ecaauhsoj, by all means share it with the rest of us.
