hello all!
don't know really how to ask but i'll try, I'm a US citizen living abroad most of my life, i have a complicated relation ship with my girlfriend, for the last 3 years we don't leave together, she's in the states and i'm abroad. She has a working visa (E2) and plans to stay there for at least 5 more years.
now we were thinking of getting married in the US so she can get eventually green card. so i just wanted to get an idea of how the process works if this is possible to do this. lets say i come to the US get married with her, leave the states come back to the interview and basically don't really leave there. but all the papers will be made (bank accounts, taxes, house together).
i know our case doesn't look good but at the moment i cant live in the US (i study abroad) and will come just for visiting her. when i finish studying we plan living together in the states.
is the immigration have the tools to find that i don't live with her?
how does this process really works? what do they ask in the interview??
I appreciate some helping information .. advice and general opinion..
