    Default SSD Process

I applied for SSD about 5-6 months ago two days ago they called and asked about income for one of my jobs, when I gave her the information she said "okay that one won't count" when I asked what this was about she didn't give a direct answer just said they were making a final determination. She then said the decision has been made you'll hear something in the mail.

My thinking is that the reason for asking about past income was to calculate my benefits but I am just not sure could that be the case?

If you paid FICA taxes on the work, it will be used to calculate benefits. If the job started and stopped after your date of onset, it may be considered an unsuccessful work attempt if it was six month or less.
