Default Marrying a J1 Exchange Participant Who Has Returned to Her Nation of Origin

2 year rule does apply. Not a medical profession.

We think we can get letter of no exception from Peru gov't BUT before we do anything, would it adversely affect the Waiver app if we are already married or planning on it?

We want to marry in December and need to decide if it is unwise or not.

You mean, would your marriage affect whether Peru authorizes a waiver? My knee-jerk reaction is "I doubt it," but I can't claim any familiarity with Peru's policies on the issue.
