Default What Happens 18 Year Old Still Under Juvenile Probation

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CA

What happens with an 18 year old who is arrested on new (misdemeanor) charges who is still under the jurisdiction of Juvenile Probation (extended)? What court do they go through? How will it affect bail/bonding out etc? Will he end up with an adult record - does he go through sentencing or dispositions? Would Juvenile Probation be likely to continue or will they 'switch' to adult sentencing?

I should add, the misdemeanor charges are pretty minor compared to past charges for which he ended up on Juvenile Probation.

Without knowing the details, which could change things considerably, odds are he'll end up being sentenced in the adult court for his new adult charge, and that he'll be discharged from juvenile probation in favor of serving adult probation on his new charge. Yes, he gets an adult criminal record for committing crimes as an adult.
